Providence High School was established in 1951 as a private all girls school that focused on faith based education. We became Providence Catholic School in 2005 when we expanded to include middle school grades in our neighboring Catholic preparatory school. We are one of the best private schools downtown, situated on historically significant property in San Antonio, TX. 

Today, Providence is an accredited, all girls college preparatory school, and has an exemplary education program, with numerous athletic and art opportunities. Our mission is to develop lifelong learners across multiple disciplines within a faith-based educational environment. In middle school, we will help your daughter pinpoint her strengths so she can become her personal best and be prepared for the rigor of our high school curriculum. In high school, internship opportunities, Advanced Placement courses, and dual credit courses will give students the advantage in preparing for college and life’s continuing journey.
